At the volcano you could hear the explosions at the top and see rocks tumbling down the hillside. Later at night it was possible to see the rocks glowing as they were red hot. After the volcano I went to the nicest hot springs that I have been to in my life. There were 18 pools of different temperatures, all were made of natural rock and set in a beautifully-landscaped jungle setting.
