Snowed out of Santiago

I had intended to go to Santiago (Ch) after Mendoza but the only road has been snowed in since Monday and shows no signs of opening until Tuesday at the earliest. I guess winter came early to the andes and caught them off guard. Good for the ski resorts, bad for the bus companies. I decided that there would be no more waiting (i´m not good at that anyway) and am now making my way to San Pedro de Atacama (Ch), via Salta (Ar), via Cordoba (Ar). Now I am in Cordoba and the snow is still giving me trouble. The bus that I was supposed to take to Salta has been delayed by at least three hours. At least it gives me some time to post to the net.
